Picked up the 2 pack in store as well yesterday. Basically same price....$16.99 for two pack if you're headed into store. Got 3 packs... might get more before sale ends. I believe the best price they've been.

Guess I waited too long to pick these up, and now they can't be flashed with Tasmota using Tuya-Convert: https://github.com/ct-Open-Source.../issues/99

In for 2 boxes, thanks.

I have historically bought the cheapest bundle of 4 I could find from eBay or Amazon (same stats as these bulbs for most part) that were usually $36. I have about 12 bulbs already from this method.

Looking forward to seeing how these stack up.

There is a great rebate on Lightbulbs in Oregon right now at costco.

I picked up the non wifi ones at $1 each this weekend.

just fyi, I've had a few problems with these bulbs, but they are annoying enough that I wouldn't recommend them for most people. So assuming they haven't come out with an updated version, here are the problems I've experienced:

1. They can enter into pairing mode a little too easily, which means they start flashing on and off at full brightness until you pair them again. Sometimes, they will just lose their pairing without having to flip the switch the 4-5 times that is usually called for. It's pretty annoying if you have these set up in a bathroom, and you randomly get blasted by super bright flashing lights when you just want to brush your teeth or use the toilet.

2. The bigger issue is these bulbs will always turn on at full brightness at daylight color at first for half second, before switching to whatever setting they were last on before they were turned off. So if you like to set your bulb dim, you can expect them to come on really bright every time you turn them on.

Hopefully they are not the updated version. Thanks for the link

Check and see if you are on firmware version 1.6.3 in the Feit App. I have not seen these issues for the bulbs we recently purchased. I believe I remember this happening to some of the original bulbs we got a few months ago, but after the new firmware, they turn on to the color settings you last used. I haven't seen the pairing mode flashing issue with any of my bulbs.

I now have purchased 10 of these bulbs and with the dimming and color changing features, I believe these are the best price/feature smart bulbs around. Plus purchasing from Costco, you can always return/exchange easily in store if you get a defective bulb.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I may have an older version of this bulb. When I check my firmware, it says the latest version is 1.1.7

I'm glad these are working out for you, but the ones I got had too many downsides to keep using.

This is very tempting. I will probably see if the local store carries these the next time I go.

How's the light quality compared to Hue bulbs?

I got them too. They are super good. I used one of it as outside lamb but it didn't work. It makes flashing light. Anyone knows? Wireless modem is far away that might cause? Please help.

Picked some up last night in store. They do flash at full brightness, but it's more like a millisecond (think a camera flash going off). Definitely would be annoying for a light you will be hard switching on and off in the dark.

Yes, it's very quick. I think your estimate of a millisecond is more accurate.

But as you noted, it's quite jarring if you intend to set it up for low light environments.

Did you upgrade to the latest firmware? And this still happens? What firmware version are you using?
