I just used this to get the Recline 'n Ride down to $149.99. They have it on sale for 29% off, and then 25% off of that gets it to $150. That's $30 more than the Extend2Fit - but it is a 3 in 1 that goes to a full high-backed booster.

I have two of the Extend2Fit and have owned about 4 other types of car seats. Two gripes with the Extend2Fit. Gripe One is with the fabric band which you pull to tighten the car seat straps is difficult to grasp, particularly in rear facing, so it's hard to get a reasonably tight and secure fit. Other car seats have a wide plastic grab handle to yank.

Gripe Two is that it's a PITA to wash the car seat lining. There are hooks and snaps and labyrinths that are frustrating as hell even after practice. I find myself wishing for the sweet release of death when my kid makes a mess on the seat, knowing that I'll need to wash it.

This jogger travel system is awful as a stroller. The car seat was all right for the first 18 months (my baby outgrown the height limit way before the weight one) but the wheels on the stroller are awful.

I am confused and hoping someone will chime in. My 1 kid is 7 but is on the tiny side and my other kid is 3 but is on the bigger side. They both fit boosters but the ones I have dont feel safe so what should I get them for a safe overall travel situation?

We travel far often and have a few cars so if it stays in the car that would be ideal but dont want to have complex seats or cheap seats for that matter.

Thanks in advance.

Baby girl due in feb. Do you need an infant dedicated car seat? Seems like the 4evers, etc say they support weight down to like 6 pounds or so. Cant figure out why i'd need an infant one at all if that's the case.
