PSA that CPS warranty is absolutely useless because it only applies to products valued under $500 which is definitely not the case here. Also these monitors are extremely likely to have defects as they are returns from the last round of sales from customers buying the $800 buydig deals a while back.
After you make the purchase it seems they send you a cps warranty offer that covers up to $2000 for $85, but looking online CPS warranty seems to have poor reviews. Anyone have experience?

No warranty is making me rethink buying. I'm sure LG will repair the monitor or send you another, but without warranty you will be paying for that. Credit card warranties specifically exclude open box, used, or refurbish items, so your only bet would probably be square trade warranty which then would increase the total cost to buying new when there is a deal.

I have had bad luck lately so i dont think i should be gambling on getting a good monitor.
Good deal for those who are willing to gamble for a good monitor!

There's 45 days for a return, so I assume if you have an issue you would notice it within the first month. (Assuming this vendor isn't difficult with returns, haven't returned anything to them before)

I'm really sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone have experience using gsync on one of these? If so, how well does it work if at all? Thanks.

how do these guys get so many higher end "open box" monitors.. and is that just a nice way of saying .. returned scratched up monitors with loads of dead pixels..
I once paid $250 on a S2417DG monitor since it was $50 less than the $300 deal going on at the time. It has a single dead pixel that I can't notice during normal use, even if I'm intentionally looking for it. Sometimes you can save a decent amount of money if you're willing to look past some flaws.

I got my monitor today and, at first, it was was perfect. After running for 15 minutes I have bouncing lines across the monitor. I am on the phone with LG now, and if they do not fix it, it is going back immediately.

Using it with a GTX 1080 and it works fine with variable refresh rate.

VRR and HDR work just fine with a 1080ti with the supplied display port cable.

Copy/Pasting my comment from the last time this monitor was posted from this seller for awareness. "Just wanted to give everyone a head's up about this panel and this seller. I bought two "New, open box" from their eBay store this month. The first one arrived and the monitor was dirty, used, had three mounting screws in it, and the serial number didn't match the box. Also the panel was shattered when I turned it on. I sent them a message over eBay and they offered me $25 back if I kept it. I returned it. The second panel arrived three days later and had a ton of backlight bleed in three out of four corners. Other than that, no dead pixels and a little "IPS glow". Meanwhile, two months ago I won a local auction for a broken one of these monitors for $35 (yes you read that right, shattered panel). Paid LG $400 out the door to repair it and finally got it back about a week after I received the second order from eBay. This one had very very minimal backlight bleed, no dead pixels, still some IPS glow. It looked so much better in color temperatures and bleed than the second one from eBay that I ended up returning that one after considering dual ultrawides. G-SYNC works flawlessly after adjusting settings in Nvidia Control Panel and runs at the advertised 144hz no problem. After updating firmware the response time is great, with me not noticing a huge difference from my Dell S2716DGR 144hz 1440p 1ms TN. After finally getting a good model of this panel, I can say it is amazing and I can't ever leave the ultrawide world now. You might want to order multiple though and just keep the best of the bunch. Seems wasteful and unnecessary but unfortunately will probably save you time and sanity in the long run."
