I have to disagree. I see plenty of SD threads on $3k+ 77-86" tvs ... so plenty of people willing to spend if it is a good deal. I think these 55"/65" oleds however have had so many consecutive drops the last several months that the bulk of the people that were on the fence have bought already or are waiting until Black Friday to see what they bottom out at.

Agree. Waiting for Black Friday. Why pay more when you can just wait 2 months.

Is SD completely tapped out on these now lol? Not a single comment and only 2 thumbs up one from me in 5 hours? Well let me thank the op cause this is still the lowest non-mistake (and actually attainable) price I've seen on here. Ordered this same TV thru the Rakuten post a few days ago and the order was canceled today by GameLiquidations. First thought was that the price was to cheap to justify the shipping to me. Guess not though. Even if this is the new normal price I feel like it's a good deal right now compared to Costco and everywhere else

I believe first class TV has been selling TVs for awhile on eBay with many happy customers. I would not hesitate to buy from them. That said I was able to get same tv from greentoe for same price. Probably all coming from the same place for all we know.

Probably tapped out on SD. You generally find cheap people on SD that scoff at a $1900 tv no matter how good of a deal is. Most people here are happy with their $200 Sharpe TV that they think are such insane deals.

Yep that's the thing all of us have gotten the tv of our dreams already (I watched SD since April and bought my set 2 weeks ago).

I was waiting for it hit this ($1899) but at 1979 plus a bunch of cash back and rakuten points I just said the hell with it and got it then. After a courtesy $50 credit since they missed their delivery day (came 2 days later than was shown) I got the tv for under $1899 I was looking for.

I've seen lot of people say they got their TV from them with out issue though ebay store but DO NOT buy from their website the prices there may show even lower but the size they aren't beholden to ebays rules they will try to up sale you on a bunch of bs.
. When you go through eBay they don't dare screw around like that else risk losing their eBay store.

Probably true for most SDers, but personally I thought $1899 would be the BF price on the C9, so this is very tempting, but then being only 2 months from BF, makes you wonder if it'll get even lower. $1699 maybe? Seems like wishful thinking, but as low as the C8 got during the closeout, I guess it could happen...

Considering costco and best buys price on this is still 2400 something I wouldn't be surprised if BF deals on this TV were 1899 or even higher

From those stores, yes probably. But other discount retailers will likely go lower if it's already going at $1899 now. There are a lot more BF deals than just Costco and BB and the other big box stores. It might not be a lot lower, maybe only $1799 or so. Like I said, I was surprised to see it hit $1899 before BF, but now wouldn't be shocked to see lower on BF.

This is a solid deal for anyone that doesn't want to wait.

Exactly I need the TV now. Good point. Confident that however lower it is it wouldn't be worth me not having a TV for two months
