The phones have been 50% off for a bit now, and other than the new family member discount, the data rate is exactly the same as earlier this year when Google changed how they charged for data.

Not saying the 50% off isn't a good deal, but combining a deal that's already existed with an unlimited data plan which already existed is an odd way to announce a family plan deal.

just 22gb and then slow speed.

PROTIP: When you are on T-Mobile's network, long press on the Fi app icon and disable location permissions. You'll never have to worry about switching to Sprint again.

Unlimited plan for 70 bucks is pretty compelling given Fi allows up to 5 free data sims per line.

1 line - 5 sims, how does it work and what's the benefit when there is only 1 line?

I just switched from Fi to Visible and I pay $40/month for unlimited (25gb and then throttled) and am happy. I took my 128gb Pixel 3XL to their network and it works much better at my house as the Verizon tower is close. Sad thing is that I still owe $500 on the phone and have had it for some time haha

They lowered it to a max of 4 data sims in July.

I would've switched to Visible if they were open to more BYOD phones like the Pixel 2. I'm currently on what I consider the next best plan: Tmobile $50 Prepaid Unlimited. I usually get refills for $45 using the Target Redcard.
