picked up the r2 pro for my fuji. Best thing about this ecosystem is that all the flashes in godox/flashpoint are compatible off camera regardless of system they are intended for.

picked this up 2 weeks ago at this price. The sale has been going on for awhile. Nice that it comes with the extra generic battery and charger.

ShopRunner, if you have it. If not, you can get free membership if you have an Amex card.

I'm trying to decide between this and the V860ii for the Fuji system. I only plan to buy one flash for a while. Can anyone attest to the versatility of this smaller flash?

These are a bit underpowered compared to the TT600/TT685 series, which are AA-powered. My math says about 1-1/3 stops weaker. For indoor work it won't matter, but outside in the sun it will be an issue.

I really appreciate the response, and your insight. If I could bother you with one more question - have you used the 350's through a softbox or other modifier indoors at all, say for a portrait shoot? Do you think the power would suffice in that situation?

I'd likely only be using as an on camera flash maybe 1/4th of the time (or less), and I'm shooting with an x-t30, so while I'm leaning towards the larger flash, I'm also a little worried about what it would do to my camera lol

I think that the R2 Pro 2 has bluetooth, allowing you to use your phone to control the remote. There are other usability enhancements too. You can Google to see the gushing reviews.

if you're looking at using lighting modifiers, buy the more powerful unit, period. don't even think twice about that.
