Found this on the clearance shelf. You may want to check your local Home Depot. Not sure if this is a good deal or not but it's good for me.

Doesn't show a price on brickseek but you can check inventory to see if it's on clearance:

This is a steal if you can find it. Monster drill and more than enough for most people.

I rember this thing almost taking my arm of when I hit a nail using a 1" bore, I learned to take the extra 30 sec to attach the handle. Excellent drill for big jobs, but too heavy for daily work.

Been needing a new one to replace a crappy HF one I burned out. Great deal if you can find one! My local store showed 2 on brickseek, but 30 mins of searching turned up nothing. An employee probably snagged them on the way to the clearance section...

Another thread just got posted for the same model, open box for $78: https://slickdeals.net/f/13390267-dewalt-20v-max-xr-brushless-hammerdrill-bare-tool-w-side-handle-dcd996b-open-box-78-99-free-shipping

Dewalt is always good to go, but I bought a Kobalt 24v hammer drill and the best feature was a variable gearbox that let's you switch from between drilling, driving, and hammer-drilling modes on the fly. 1 tool does it all. I wish Dewalt would add that.

996 Hammer Drill is a total beast. I have mixed 5 gallons of thinset without smoking or overheating the motor. Plus it has a metal chuck for long life. I find myself having to switch to lower speeds because it has so much torque. I highly recommended this drill.

This 996 has variable speed selector (1 to 11 to drill), torque selector (1-3) as well as driver/hammer switch.

Don't get this for round' the house, it's heavy and cumbersome.

The smaller version is more than powerful enough and much less unwieldy.

You got that backwards, it has an 11 position clutch (for adjusting torque limit) and a 3 speed gearbox. The clutch collar, in addition to 11 clutch settings, has a direct drive position and a hammer drill position.

Scored one! Brickseek confirmed they were on clearance so I drove to HD. It was on top-stock so I had to get an associate to help and also confirm the price. Thanks OP!
