Bought one! Travelling to London in December, and my passport application says I need to send in a passport photo.

If the intent of purchasing one is solely for a passport photo, one can just as easily go to their local CVS or Walgreen Pharmacy and get a passport photo taken for less than $20.

I don't know what this is, but looking at the description, it does not seem related to taking a passport photo.

These are really handy if you're shooting a scene with multiple cameras. It helps give you a consistent baseline to do your color correction from when editing

I believe ph7 was making a joke, which got taken seriously.

This is a device for color correction for photography/video. You hold up the swatches then use software in post to generate a color correction profile. You can also use the various grey swatches to balance for slightly warmer/cooler than white tones.

Won't help to correct a mixed lighting situation, but otherwise a great tool if color accuracy or consistency is important.

Typically retails around $100, has been lower than $60 but only occasionally.

Triggered my alert, thanks!
I thought I remember this briefly selling for $50 but I can't find any proof of that, and I'm not even sure of it. Anyway, I grabbed this deal.

Just search the product here, according to past threads it seems it drops to the fifty dollar level around November/December.

This eye shadow palette sucks, the powder is just a bunch of stickers!

Do they make any third party ones, can't imagine why it's $65 when it's not preparatory technology

Nice price drop based on historical but this is a piece of plastic with some "engineered" color stickers. As such it's wildly overpriced.

Yes. I believe you use their bundled software to generate an ICC profile to import into c1
