How are these for water shoes? I hate how keens and tevas look and these might look neutral enough for me to actually wear

I bought these last month to replace a pair of columbia pfg sandals that were pretty darn similar to these that lasted years, but haven't tried these new ones in the water yet. I wore the pfgs all the time kayaking and they worked real well on the wet river rocks. These seem basically the same just lighter/back strap has changed slightly so I'd assume they'd work just as well if not better. They're comfortable and worth $25 if you ask me.

In the past, I would say that I would never be caught dead in a pair of this style sandals, BUT I just bought a kayak and need something with their functionality for getting in and out. Thumbs up

Do these sandals come with a body guard to keep all the women who will be flocking me, away?

They are okay. I used mine all the time but not as good as real water shoes. They are a bit slick sometimes inside or outside. Still love these things although everyone gives me a hard time and calls me Grandpa...

Not good wet due to the felt bottom. In fact, they stink if your feet sweat. I wouldn't recommend them.
