I don't know what the cheapest price ever was but I bought the basic obihai 200 single port device for around $28 a few years ago. Most recent price for the Polycom single port model was $39.99 at newegg.

Same question here. Waiting for this obi202 deal for months.

I know any phone that has sip port can work with this, but no idea which is cheaper and better

Does anyone know if this two-port model will allow you to configure two different GV numbers on this, (so getting a call on one port does not interfere with sending a fax on another port), or is the purpose to have both ports on a single GV line, but each one going to a different unit (phone + fax).

If the former, then this is a good deal and useful!

If the latter, wouldn't a single port cheaper unit do the same with a phone splitter/adapter?

TIA!

It supports up to 4 VoIP services so I thought it means 4 gv numbers

I have 4 phone numbers on mine.
Port #`1 is my GV #
Port #2 is my wife's GV #
I have two other phone numbers coming into port #2

You can provision four SIP slots which can be accessed from either port.

any regular phone/answering system that works with the old land line system works with this.

You can configure 4 voip services - google voice or others for the two ports. Choose whatever combo you desire. Two port model is good if you have two numbers you want to go to separate answering machines. Or especially good if you need a dedicated fax line for incoming/outgoing faxes. You can send/receive faxes on the single port model but need to switch plugs between the fax and phone to do so.

last week they had the obi200 basic version for 40$. i missed out on that deal as it sold out pretty quick. i jumped on this one right away as it is only 10$ more but has more ports for faxing too, i would jump on this deal.

amazon listing for the obi302 says this: "The OBi302 is a SIP service provider only product.Note: The OBi302 does not support the Google Voice™ communications service."
