I wouldn't. If he's stripping bolts with 6pt and not 12, he's using the wrong size sockets

Nice! This set is HUGE! The tools themselves are very nice and the case is quality with 4 metal clamps to hold it closed. BUT I'm sure some people on here will find plenty to nick pick about it.

The allen wrenches are some "filler" but at least they are now all in one place instead of scattered about my toolbox.

They should've included a spinner handle for the screwdriver bits.
I wish sets like this would include an empty area in the case for a few additional tools you want to add to the set. No matter how perfect the set seems when you buy it, there's always something you end up grumbling at them for leaving out.

Just glad they no longer include a box of screws, nuts, etc. and include them in the count. That was seriously common practice 25 years ago with "XXX-piece tool sets" like this.

I have one of these (not this exact set but similar) and I use it all the time. No complaints. Totally worth the cost.

The Q/As on the product page indicate the sockets are six point and the set is made in Taiwan. The six point sockets are definitely a plus and I think the Taiwan made tools are good. Better than most China made. Actually, the Dewalt site states six point sockets.

Looks like the ratchets are 72 tooth, which is good. 90 tooth would be better, but only in certain situations.

Like someone else said, not really any filler. I'm tempted to grab this just to have everything in one place and it appears to be a decent quality set.

I have a cheap Kobalt set to keep in the truck, which is handy. However, the 12 point sockets have rounded some bolt heads. The highlight of that set is the ratchet, which is 90 tooth.

I have this exact set that I got from Big R instead a couple years back. I don't know why but I have no luck with 6 point sockets. I have stripped more bolts in 2 years with this set than I ever did with my other set with 12 point. Could just be me I don't know. It's a nice set but that's my only complaint.
