Would be a decent price if this was a 1440p cam. $100 with tax for a 1080p unit, even a dual one, doesn't seem very juicy.

Dual channel 1080p dash cam with GPS and Sony chip under $100 is a good price. The question is how good is the optical quality and the built quality. A nice one can cost double of that price easily. Note that the back channel is for the cabin, not really for the view behind your car. This is useful for uber driver though.

That is a hit and run. Just call the cop next time instead of chasing

The driver kept going? What ended up happening?

Eventually she stopped and pulled into a gas station. We exchanged insurance info but later it turned out to be a fake policy . I ended up using my insurance for repair and my insurance would pursue the other driver for all the repair cost.

Video looks bad, but the on-screen stuff looks poor too, so I assume YouTube smashed the video. Could you read the place from the video?

I disagree. Don't be a victim. Chase them down.

1080 is not a problem if it was the quality of a mid-range or flagshit phone. or even a low end phone, but it's a lot worse. i'll take 1080/60 over 1440 or 2k/30 but it has to be good quality. not "crystal clear in any light conditions" only on paper. i'd gladly pay $100 if it was half the quality of s10e 1080.
