Just FYI, the provider's name is FastestVPN, it is not the fastest VPN.

Personally, I treat this deal as $1/month for a year... If the service lasts for over a year, lucky me.

As for the company's privacy promises, they are quite good. FastestVPN's privacy policy is written in the style of a FAQ. It says the company does not store logs in any way. "Any information or logs related to your browsing history—the websites you visit, the content you download or stream, your traffic destinations, or your DNS queries—stays with you and you alone," the page says.
To sign up for an account with FasestVPN requires your name and email address, and possibly further information depending on your method of payment. FastestVPN accepts payments via PayPal, credit card, eWallets such as Apple Pay, and ACH bank transfers. There doesn't appear to be an option to pay with cash or cryptocurrencies.

Their customer service rep said that the $20 sale is still ongoing for 10 logins, and that the $12 is for 5 multi-logins. The 10 logins is displayed twice on the page, right where you pay. Representative said to scroll down and that is where the 5 logins is, and claimed they will fix it. Right. There is zero differentiation between the 5 and 10 displayed. Nor is there any indication that the $20 for 10 logins is still ongoing.

I asked about the $20 for 10 because I wanted to see if they are desperate with the fire sale pricing so close to each other.

And who is going to scroll down? Very misleading -- especially for a service that is supposed to be about privacy and security.

You are right...in one place it says 10 and another place says 5.

5 for $20 or 10 for $35:

I bought the 5 for $20 a couple of weeks ago ($14 after $6 credit).

It works fine for me and no problem with speed (Suddenlink Plan 100/7.5)using IKEV2 protocol.

I set my expectations low and pulled the trigger. Their opevpn seems to work alright. Good speeds (~100 Mbps down from the Chicago server).

I couldn't get the windows app to work though.

Overall, pretty happy. It will be an awesome deal if they stick around.

Tyop. My windscribe 2-year expires this weekend, so this is perfect timing to try a different one.

I just looked again, now it says 10 connections in two places.

So what are buyers getting...5 or 10???

Gave this a shot, I get about 3MB/s speeds compared to 12MB/s (my max connection) without VPN.
