Can I buy a port in number from ebay, pay the $55 and then cancel and put in my Verizon sim card?

*reading the fine print shows that you must have service for 6 months for unlock

the only deal I see on their website is buy one Stylo 5 for free with a port in in $55 month
MetroPCS seems to have the same deal if not a little better. it doesn't look like you have to port in or do the $55. they have a $40 $50 and $60 plan.

Don't even have to wait a month. As soon as you get the phone you can change the plan to as low as you like and the remaining amount would be a credit towards further months.

How much do you pay total OTD? ($55 + tax + fees?)

Appreciate the info so I can decide to jump or not.

$15 activation fee + tax on $239.99 (full retail price of phone) for Metro PCS. I don't think that deal is amy better than this one.

I got LG stylo 5 today, but seems like they changed the unlock process to app, instead of prompting for code.

Anyone successfully unlocked it?

They are all locked to Cricket. You have to have service with them for 6 months or pay a 3rd party to unlock.
