If you liked this and blind-watches, check out Train To Busan. Pretty sure it's currently on Netflix.

It's like WWZ, but with better pacing.

Are the digital codes for these expired, and are they actually HD? They have the old "digital copy" wording, rather than "digital HD", and these discs are circa 2013 in origin (the 2018 steelbook does say "digital HD").

Should be in HD. Also the code does say may not be redeemable past 9/2015 but it should still work if you try it. I was just checking the previous thread for this movie. Code worked after trying.

Cool. I recently had a Kubo and the Two Strings code turn out to have expired, even though Universal codes usually don't expire either. Maybe it's Laika's fault Universal is enforcing an expiration date. It implies most current stock of the Blu-rays have expired codes inside.

The 3d version of this movie, for $5, should be at many Big Lots right now. Obviously comes with the regular bluray.

Brad Pitt has been talking up the story lately, though the rumor mill says production activity has halted and the movie canceled.

anyone have opinions on the unrated cut compared to theatrical? looked at the Amazon reviews and there's one really negative towards the top saying that the extra footage ruins everything somehow

I think the unrated cut is the superior version, though I still enjoyed the theatrical cut.

The Theatrical Version removed the bloody and gratuitous violence stuff out (supermarket rape scene, prisoner tooth pulling, lady soldier w/ bloody arm stump, lots more zombie attack scenes, etc.) to improve the pacing and runtime at the cinemas. I personally liked all of it back in the Unrated Cut, they should have never removed it in the first place, this is a zombie film after all.
