I've purchased RAM from Newegg an uncountable number of times over the last 20 years and have never received "Used" RAM. I think you're being ignorant and/or dishonest.

I have a question. I believe I have this same ram except mine is 2400 which I am able to overclock to 2933 no problem. Can I throw this in and match the clock speeds and expect no issues ?

Typically yes, that should work fine. There are caveats to all compatibility statements. But that scenario, you should be fine

I'm running theses with a 1700X on a 390 board from the BF 2018 NE/eBay deal. Combo works great, system runs 24/7 flawlessly

I've got a few of these sets before, no issues, other than a bit flimsy heatsinks.
RAM actually went up in price slightly in the last 3 weeks, RAM market straightened out recently, some companies increased profits or market value/share in the last month, it is kind of a bottom for now, prices may go up really quickly if something goes off...

DDR4 is the only ram to have raised prices for 3 years and finally settled on a higher price than it began.

No shortage, no natural disaster, just pure price manipulation from "competitors".

Yes, I know the speed is different but this would be comparable to higher end models if we wanted to compare speed/price/date

Prices go up steadily over the few months leading up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, to artificially make you think they're cheaper for the sale

I just sent this exact RAM back to Newegg. I was getting constant BSOD while trying to install Windows. Managed to eventually get windows installed after many attempts but continued getting BSOD afterwards. Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did.

why would you go through all that to get the same-ish results?

Newegg tends to sell used RAM and label them new. Last time I bought anything from them was 20 years ago. LoL
