From the website, your mobile device will be fine, should be under edit -> advanced.

Thanks. I updated the title. I might add too that I have the revised model for the past month with no problems. The original had problems with flickering and cable disconnecting. I am pretty sure they are only selling the revised model. I use it mainly for flight sims. The clarity is outstanding. I also play games like Arizona Sunshine, Box VR, Beat Saber and Thrill of the Fight with no real tracking problems.

I just confirmed with HP support live chat - they are only selling the new revised model from their website now so this is a pretty good deal.

In for one!

How is this compare to odyssey plus? Worth upgrade? HTC Cosmos is also coming in Oct.

I had the Odyssey Plus prior. The increase in resolution is definitely noticeable with the Reverb. Almost no light leakage with the Reverb. The sweet spot was slightly larger with the Odyssey and people say tracking is slightly better with the Odyssey too. The Reverb headset is lighter and slightly more comfortable. The controllers are designed to be more comfortable with the Odyssey but I say they both suck in that department.

I thought $499 was already the price for the non-business model, or is this the business model?

Thanks, Man. I have O+and had rift (non-s) before. Rift had no doubt best tracking and controllers. That's odd no camera bump up on Reverb, for the price point 599 they should have given more camera for better tracking like Rift-S. If no much difference between O+ and Reverb I would wait for Cosmos for reviews. Smilie

So I am looking for something to use for Sim Rig Racing only. Would this be better or the Odyssey+? Searching online comes up iffy. Thanks! I am looking for best quality image and best way to see the apex. Using a 2080 card.

What's your IPD? If it isn't 64mm I would get the Odyssey. The Reverb is a fixed IPD headset so it will only work well for someone with more or less 64mm between their pupils. The higher resolution is very nice, but that only works if your eyes are the right distance apart otherwise you'll experience a lot of blurriness. The sweet spot on the Reverb is pretty small. If it were bigger than the fixed IPD wouldn't matter as much. Also the Reverb has a lot of CA. The high res panels are great, unfortunately they are let down by the lenses.

To those with unidays, that will take another $50 off making it $449.

Thank you for that info. Yeah not sure what my IPD is. I may need to hold off but thanks for that Unidays info too!

How long can one realistically use this in one sitting? I was planning to use this as my monitor for long gaming sessions.
