I just bought one of these for my nephew who just started college in Orlando. He has 1 bdr studio with washer/dryer and bathroom (steam from shower) all in the same area.

This thing works like a charm for a lot less than some of the pricier models.

There's a hose attachment area on there but you will have to buy the hose separately.

Emptying the bucket is perfectly fine though and it cuts off whenever the bucket is full if you forget to empty it.

Have the 50pt. Live in South Florida, let it run while we are at work. Have the temp set to 81 when we are gone, then slowly down to 77 by the time we get home. I have found the house to feel much more comfortable when we get home.

I bought this unit last time and really enjoy it. It grabs a lot of water but does make the apartment warmer.

Came to say this. Dehumidifiers increase temps slightly.
