The actual price history might take some effort but it's more useful than "lowest price ever." A product that has been $29.99 for 5 years will be the lowest price ever when it drops 1 cent to $29.98. (BTW price history does not reflect coupons available on the product page like % off coupons often available on products like this around Black Friday, as well as many S&S deals).

30.99 - 2017 - Aug 24
29.94 - 2018 - Aug 14-28
33.08 - 2018 - Dec 7-31
29.44 - 2019 - Sept 21

In this case the price history demonstrates this knife probably won't be less expensive over the holidays, but it probably will be this time next year.

would buy this BUT Amazon doesn't sell knives to us New Yorkers even though we are 3+ hours north of the big city and are sitting on 15 acres. : P

I just noticed Slickdeals edits my tongue sticking out emoji .... : P

Great price, good steel (420HC). I've been waiting awhile for this to go on sale again. I lost my last Link awhile ago and have been using my Leek instead. I love both knives but this Link is my favorite EDC ever although it's a bit heavier than I'd like. That's okay though at this price.

This knife is a fantastic value imho at $50. Under $30 like this deal is a stock up price as far as I'm concerned. If you're on the fence about this, don't be. Just buy it and you'll love it!

Thanks for the feedback, looking forward to trying the Link out. I have half a dozen Leeks in various forms, which have been my go-to EDC knives for a decade.

There are a few colors for $32-34 on walmart.com for us NYers. Disappointing that Amazon won't sell a long time prime member a perfectly legal item though.

Since when it's 420hc a good steel? I've always found it soft and had to sharpen it often, Amazon won't ship knifes to my house either I've gotten around this by shipping to a locker near me they don't seem to have any problem doing that!

I was comparing this to the Leek I purchased awhile back. The Amazon listing says the Leek has "14C28N Sandwich Steel." So I guess I shouldn't be using it for an EDC but rather just for cutting the crusts off my PBJs.

Must have been their #@!&* autocorrect not playing nice with "Sandvik."

Anyway, in for 1. Looks a little heftier than the Leek, and gets great reviews on Amazon a really good all-around EDC. Made in USA is a nice touch too.

I have the nylon handle version, I'm afraid the all aluminum may be too heavy though this version is a beaut. Also a made in the USA, model #1776 🇺🇸. This knife as all the us models has exceptional fit finish and function.

Thanks for the additional context. This was a front-page deal last year and hasn't been this low again since so this is a good opportunity for those that don't want to wait for another year. You forgot to mention that this is normally around $40.
