Dell [dell.com] has Alienware M15 Gaming Laptop: Intel Core i7-9750H, 15" 1080p 144Hz IPS, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD + 1TB SSHD, RTX 2060 6GB, Win 10 in Epic Silver for $1217.15 (plus tax) after applying the code below. Shipping is free.

Use code: LCS10OFF

For reference, the current price is lower than it was during the 17% off sale they had earlier this month. 17" models are also on sale via this [dell.com] link.

Potential upgrades:

Nebula Red + $30
512GB SSD + $50
512GB SSD + 90Wh battery + $100 (must upgrade together)
*240Hz FHD Screen + $50 (see Note below)
60Hz UHD Screen + $150

*Note on screen selection:

According to the review of the M15 R2 [notebookcheck.net] which most likely uses the same 240Hz screen there is PWM flickering below a certain threshold. The review of the M15 R1 [notebookcheck.net] with the 144Hz screen does not present the same issue. Just passing on a bit of info I personally found useful.

Edit: link works now, but coupon code NDAR2DFREE won't apply to order. I wouldn't call this deal slick, but it's pretty decent considering you can get this loaded with the 90Wh battery and 512GB ssd to go with the newer i7 cpu with extra cache. I've been using an Alienware m15 for the past week+, and my main gripes are:

1) the fans never turn off, ever...
2) the hybrid hdd+ 8GB ssd sucks. Just don't even bother. I've been using 2-3 ssd drives in my desktops for almost a decade now, and the hybrid drive combined with laptop's slower ram etc = garbage.

Same. Link doesn't work. Gtx 2660 is probably Nvidia making a World Premier, because Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang absolutely loves understated and under-the-radar launches.

Here is the link I have come across. OP please correct yours, it's not working.

https://www.dell.com/en-us/member...1dfb3dcb4e

LCS10OFF is working - 10% off With that price comes to 1217.15 plus tax

Other code is not working.

This looks good price, 9750h 16 gb ram, 2060 (OC ready), 144hz FHD, 256 GB SSD + 1TB hybrid

I wish there is 10-15% cashback than 2% currently. worship

You can't upgrade to 90wh battery for $50. Have to upgrade to ssd, then you can upgrade battery. Upgrade costs $98

I like the price but concerned how so many reviews mention thermal throttling and fans don't stop.

alienware is most failure product ever in laptop history imo, thermal throttling is unsolvable issue to its all lines of products. you may only use 50% of configured components, even while lousy fans running all the time.
