Worked at a KK for 4 years. We had roaches in the espresso machines and the numbnuts that opened never fully rinsed out the chemicals from the coffee pots that the night shift put in. The first few brews would always have some 'extra'. Don't get me started on the glazer. We never cleaned it with more than a ragged bristle brush (that was stored on the floor) and lukewarm water. Soap never came in contact with that thing. I always feel bad for the suckers that actually eat or drink there now.

fark. I've been excited to go to my local KK for two days to get in on this. But after reading that shit, I'm sure as hell not now.

If what you are saying is true....that says ALOT about your integrity. Why would you work a place where those kinds of things were common occurrence? Did you not have integrity? Secondly, I have to wonder why you didn't document these things and report to the authorities. You may be telling the truth, but you may not either.

Just ignore him. He attacked one of our best mods in another coffee thread accusing her of scamming.

I reported them to the health department while I worked there twice. Nothing was ever done. And since it was a franchise, they didn't have the FL health department do inspections; they had private ones done. I even left them a Google/Yelp review stating what I'd seen there to warn potential customers, but both reviews got deleted.
