i have a white tmb100. i'm a beginner but i appreciate the versatility and, subjectively, its looks. i got it for this much a year ago so it can be purchased for this much quite often with sales or coupons.

when i got it (i got it from guitar center) the action was quite high on it

I ordered the blue one. I would love to replace the pg with white or pearloid, but the tortoise will have to do.

My daughter just started learning this past weekend and loves it. We bought the game called Rocksmith and she is already playing songs quite well. Check that out for your son if you get a chance.

Rocksmith is a great way for people to start learning the guitar. I've been playing off and on for a few years now and it's great!

I'm very tempted by this deal for either the Soda Blue or Mint Green one. If only the Soda Blue came in a white pickguard, then that would be an instant buy for me.

For anyone that's interested, Musician's Friend also has a Squire PJ bass on sale. Same price as this Ibanez, but with that classic Fender look and feel. It's also passive so no need for a battery but the tone will not be nearly as tweakable as the Ibanez.

Same thing here. I wanted an Elite with -dark green(ish) and mahogany fret
board but ended up with champagne and maple. Still love it.

When you're ready, check out a Dingwall. Bass.Search.Over.
