Haha.. yeah. I normally order these in 20 packs. I have a good stockpile of these, but usually they are $3.50ish a pack that way, even then. I ordered just a few more... (10 4packs!) Big Grin

Do you think they'll make a good cup of joe in a pour over?

Last time this deal came around it ended up being a price mistake and my order got cancelled. Let's hope it goes through this time!

I've used it as espresso, americano, and regular drip coffee. If strong Lavazza is your taste, it works in all forms for me Wink

Do you mean a regular drip machine? That's what this is made for... But if you're talking about a Chemex or a V60, it's better to get whole bean coffee and grind it on a coarser setting than you would get from pre-ground.

I use this with the Perfect Pod K16127 EZ 1.0 Reusable K-Cup filter, Brown and eZ cup filters. It makes an unbelievable k-cup, with no mess.

I haven't purchased k-cups in almost a year and I make 3-4 cups a day as I work from home. No more weak k-cups!

This is espresso so fine grind. Fine grind is perfect for paper filter you find in pour over or drip and fine steel mesh you find in espresso machines. Fine grind is not good for French press which typically requires coarse grind because the mesh is coarser and would allow some finer grinds to pass thru. I personally go with fine grind and less steep time (controlled using my aeropress) because I feel you get more coffee extracted with less beans and don't need to steep too long which can make coffee taste more bitter (because of tannins).

I do prefer the other lavazza offer and take in account that this one is an extremely thin powder really only good for espressos...

Completely disagree. While both Lavazza flavors are excellent, this offer is much more cost effective per oz (0.28/oz for the Crema e Gusto vs 0.43/oz of the other frontpage deal). This coffee also makes excellent cappuccinos or drip coffee in a standard coffee pot.

Best deal in coffee right here. I pretty much only use my Moka Pot any more because this is such a good deal on coffee.

Absolutely love this espresso and I am a real coffee snob. No other espresso tastes as good to me. I was conserving them hoping a deal would come up!

I hate the idea of not grinding them myself freshly, but they don't sell the beans just the ground in the US.
