$70 is fairly normal sale price but better with no tax and free shipping.

True, but there haven't seemed to be that many sales for UBNT equipment recently.

UBNT sales usually starts around Thanks Giving. This may be first to clear stock but will soon see more latest ones.

Just a heads up that the lite seems to have a pretty nasty bug that will often drop your uplink down to 100mbps unless you're connected directly to a unifi switch. I switched to the pro and haven't had an issue since, with the lite I couldn't get it to stay connected at gigabit FDX no matter what I tried

I could use another one of these to be place in my bedroom, but don't know how to run cable from the basement to attic.

Yeah and I've been waiting for a sale on the LR - mine keeps fading range at all the wrong times and I'm looking for a plug/restore solution.

Thanks for pointing this out. Where do I need to check for sales around Thanksgiving?

Thankfully I haven't seen that bug, but I can't seem to get anything higher than about 320Mbps on my gig internet.

How are you testing your internet connection? If you are using the built in speed test in the Ubiquiti Security Gateway, it will always top out around 300

"USG can generate about 300 Mbps of traffic but still can route close to line-rate (1 Gbps)."

If you are using a laptop to run your speedtest over wireless, you will probably never come close to the 1GB speed. I'm getting about 350Mbps over WiFi.

Your best best would be to run the test hard wired directly into the modem.

Could be the PoE injector too. I had to switch to the correct type to fix that.

Consider yourself lucky man...I went thru 3 different lites that they kept RMA'ing and would keep dropping to 100mbps, and they kept blaming everything but their own devices and firmware. I went out and grabbed a pro just for kicks, and it hasn't dropped from gigabit once in over two months now (knock on wood).

Nope, tried several different injectors too. Nothing worked except changing from a lite to a pro.

Weird. Mine is working fine after changing out the injector. Mine was stuck in 100mbps until I put an injector meant for a pro on there.
