Pichu, Snake Amiibo at Target 12.99+shipping

I've been making rounds at local Walmart looking for the new wave of Amiibo (Walmart usually has them for 12.96 instead of the new 15.99 price), but Snake was the only one I couldn't find.

Happened upon Target having them in stock for 12.99. You should see "See low price in cart."

Also see Pichu and Pokemon Trainer, although Pokemon Trainer is only available for pickup if it's in stock near you.

I was able to get BestBuy to price match for me since I'm closer to it than Target.

Snake: https://www.target.com/p/nintendo...A-76790429 NLA

Pichu: https://www.target.com/p/nintendo...A-54646452

Pokemon Trainer (**B&M ONLY**): https://www.target.com/p/nintendo...A-54646420

Happy Amiibo hunting!

Get Snake while you can! Pichu is overstocked so it'll be easier to find.

Was able to pre-order amiibo originally, but the pre-order price was $15.99. Just got the amiibo 2 days ago and the price is already down $3. Can confirm from experience that Target will price match themselves if the price changes close to your purchase, at least in this case they did. I'm sick of chasing items I want because scalpers ruin it for us all. This was a good learning experience if nothing else.

When I saw the headline I thought, "Isn't that normal price?" but I guess the new waves are $15.99 now.

It was 12.99 through last night when I ordered. Looks like it went up.

What is this?
Amiibo is Nintendo's toys-to-life platform. It consists of a wireless communications and storage protocol, for connecting toys to the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Switch video game consoles. The platform was launched in November 2014 in the form of system software updates and a series of Amiibo-enabled figurines. These figurines are similar in form and functionality to that of the Skylanders and Disney Infinity series of toys-to-life platforms. The Amiibo platform was preannounced to potentially accommodate any form of toy, specifically including general plans for future card games. These toys use near field communication (NFC) to interact with supported video game software, potentially allowing data to be transferred in and out of games and across multiple platforms.
