Sigh ... Because its 300 dollars as opposed to estimated 800-900 for lowest end pixel 4..
Also the "worst" Pixel is still a very good phone in this price tier,
why even post these types of posts?

Because it's almost a third of the price is why. This is a very capable phone for a fraction of the price of the 4. I would say these phones are far from crappy, flagship no but performance from a flagship minus a few features (or in the case of the headphone jack, additional features).

This is a great price. You should update the title to with activation on Sprint, AT&T, or Verizon. Will most likely generate more interest as this is a better price than the current FP price.

From the BB website:
"We're currently only able to activate service on this unlocked phone with Verizon and AT&T and Sprint. If you prefer to use a different carrier, you can buy it today and activate service later. Either way, this unlocked phone allows you to switch carriers whenever you want."

So, can we do activate on Sprint and just cancel the Sprint account and use our own provider? Or will it be locked into Sprint network for a certain time period, or require X months of service to unlock?

They usually put a financial flag on it for 50 days of service. This means you can't use it on a Sprint MVNO.
