Three Cs says normally $8, has dropped below current price only once about a year ago for $5.58. For about a buck, I think I'll wait until I actually need these.

T20\T25 are super common for decking and framing screw applications. More often than not if I have a torx head on a screw between 1 5/8"-4" it's a 20 or 25. Smaller screws get a T15, but I'm usually not super hard on those, and larger lag type screws will take the 30/40, but I don't drive those nearly as often hence the lower count.

I will also say, the larger T30 on up I often go with a Torx Socket on an impact wrench, more stability and they drive better for me than using the Impact driver and a 1/4in bit.

2 In. Power Bits: (1) T15, (2) T20, (3) T25, (1) T30, (1) T40

If this were a full range of torx bits, this deal would have been amazing. However, I wonder why they include 2 of the T20's and 3 of the T25's. Do they expect them to break? Maybe, they think I can use 3 of the t25's at the same time.

Yes, you should expect bits to break, wear out, and get lost...that's why you will often see multiples of the most used bits in kits. You can even find packs of nothing but multiples of one common bit size.

I used to get pissed when I would buy sets, and got lots of multiples. Till years [or months] later when I couldn't find any of those specific sizes. The tool gremlins are worse than the sock gremlins...

Does a philips/square means it can drive both a Philip's screw and a square screw? Never seen those before do they work?

I don't believe so, it is a certain type of philips tip with a square at the tip made for specific philips/square screw.
