Seems like a good deal considering the battery kit / Jigsaw are usually this price alone.

These batteries are awesome. This kit has been price like this for some time, however.

Can you not buy the set and return the batteries like previous deals from home depot?

Got this last month and returned the battery kit. Was looking for the jig saw and already had batteries and chargers. Kept the saw for about $70. Wish they would put the bradnailer into this combo deal. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

No kidding, I've been holding out for a nailer for a while. The price and the fact they don't have a pin nailer is almost enough reason to get some stuff from ryobi as well.

Just be sure to register any tool and any battery bought in a kit ASAP for the LSA coverage.
It's clearly stated that you had to register for the lifetime service but a lot of people don't and complain later.

Best thing we might get is one of those $20 or $25 coupons that come out sometimes.

I did this a few months go for the reciprocation saw. Debating if I should do this to get the jigsaw. I don't need the batteries since I have quite a few from previous deals.

I registered my kit and uploaded receipts and 2 months later it still says LSA pending. How long does it take?

Call them and they will do it while you are on the phone. I am convinced that they don't process them all hoping people won't check and the period will expire.
