Just visited my local Lowes and found all Weber heat plates / flavorizor bars for 50% Off. I posted links to a few models below, but felt there were a total of 4-5 skws/ models. Looks to be BM only so YMMV. Happy hunting!

Yes. I thought it was kind of strange to, these were all NIB.

They had a bunch of Weber stuff on clearance at my local store, except the one thing that I wanted to buy -- replacement grates for my Genesis. The Spirit and Summit grates were clearanced, but the Genesis were full price.

I think they had these "flavor bars" so I may just grab some and swap out as needed. While I've been impressed with my Weber grill overall, the grates and bars inside leave a little to be desired in terms of longevity, especially the grates. My previous grill (company is out of business now) had the same grates for 11 years, and the grill wore out before they did. This Weber is 3 years old and under the same conditions, and it's not doing nearly as well.

These are not comparable with the newer grills, these only fit the the grills with the side-mounted knobs...They are also low so cutting them would not help either.

In my experience Toss the original flavor bars for Stainless steel bars you can buy on amazon or ebay. And get the cast iron grates and only clean when you ready to use as in leave dirty/greasy till next use. Clean before using and the grease from last go round protects the cast iron from rusting. Been on same grates and flavor bars for 8 yrs now and I should have atleast that long left or more.

100% agree. The cast iron grates aren't cheap, but mine have held up perfectly for several years now. Leave the crap on them, heat up when ready to grill, and THEN brush the gunk off. No rust whatsoever.

Good suggestion about the flavorizer bars.
