For those that missed the deal earlier this month, these things are a lot better than just a dead bolt if someones trying to kick in your door.

$7.81 > $8.36

Not really Satin Nickel as shown in product picture. more bronze/rose gold than anything. refer to pic for the actual color you'll get.

Sorry man, you have no idea what you are talking about. You shouldn't state your interpretation as facts when they are far from factual.

Every door is parallel to the jamb.
It does work if you have 2x6 framing
It does not mess with the framing integrity.

Just make sure you use long enough screw to attach the studs behind the door jambs. 4" if you have them.

Wow, this was popular several weeks ago, several pages in the thread. Now, not a peep. What gives?

Got one of these last time for an extra lock on the door so the wife feels safe. We love it. Installation was easy enough, even though I used a utility knife and chisel to make it flush to the door frame (took 15 minutes). It's easy to lock and unlock, and feels pretty sturdy (sturdy as a wooden door gets anyway).

Great price. I have one of these. Recommend buying longer screws from hardware store to ensure it is screwed into the frame.

I have one on my back door... Never use it, but it works well if I ever stop being lazy.

I ordered from AW for $4 on last deal, it says satin nickel, but it looks brown bronze to me.
