I would recommend avoiding this deal. There was a deal for this model for $50 more brand new as recently as yesterday: https://slickdeals.net/f/13411279-65-lg-oled65c9pua-4k-oled-tv-1699-free-s-h?v=1&src=SiteSearch. While that deal is unfortunately over, there's a decent chance another will be around the corner.

That's good thinking. The only thing is buydig with this deal is an actual authorized dealer while ratuken is not.

As far as I understand from reading other OLED threads, it doesn't matter that much. LG will honor the warranty regardless.

The issue isnt authorized or not, LG specifically states in their warranty, that burn-in is not covered.

That makes open-boxed itself the risk and not if they will honor the warranty in the first place.

Just a heads up buying open box tvs is very risky in the sense that most are returned due to issues such a tinting, banding or dse, you could get lucky for sure but I've seen the price on here for the C9 brand new really low so I would wait.
