Anker doesn't do any R&D. They're just your average rebadger. They're no different than the hundreds or thousands of Chinese companies on Aliexpress / Alibaba. They've just managed to create a name for themselves, much the same way Amazon sellers become noticed... by giving lots of shit away.

I have one of these. Sometimes the led cycle breaks and I get 2 colors at once. That's pretty neat.

I got this mouse. It's my first "gaming" mouse. I am happy enough with it.

Is "third click" functionality actually pressing 2 buttons at the same time the same as "chording"? I use mouseX and needed a good mouse with chording like an mx518----

Based on my experience Anker mice always feel super cheap. The whole "you get what you paid for" applies here very much.

looks like the first 3 frontmost side buttons are easy to press but the last 2 would be annoying. thoughts as a purchaser?

What's the sensor though? Second most important part of a mouse

You'd think the mouse would have been wireless considering all the battery R&D they've done.

I mainly use the first two. Yeah the back ones are pretty awkward. I would only use them for less frequently needed things. But I don't use them at all.

I have the Tecknet version of this mouse which seems identical. (Search Amazon for TeckNet M009)

The front 3 buttons are usable with the side of your thumb while the back 2 are only usable with the "rear" of the thumb (Proximal Phalanx). As a reference my favorite mouse of all time, the Logitech G602 (which now has the G604 as a big brother); I could use all of those thumb buttons without much issue. With this mouse, the back 2 are just way too high back to be used frequently. I only use them for really not important stuff in gaming like screenshot or special menu / settings. It's an overall nice mouse, but more for travel or backup then full time. I do like that it's a full sized mouse - cause I hate compact mice with a passion.
