Thanks for posting this, just a reminder for lurkers expires tomorrow Monday September 30, 2019 or while supplies last.

I'll be passing on this for a few different reasons:
1) I'd like more memory foam maybe another 2-3" so perhaps a thicker 14" hybrid.
2) There are several reviews warning it's not true to size, however these were scraped from sealy's website so they could have applied to a different model. Regardless I'd hate to go through the hassle of the return.

Review 1:
I wish I'd listened to the reviews that said the sizing of this mattress was off! Unfortunately, as those reviews all applied to the King Size, I assumed that it was just a quirk with that model and therefore I would be fine ordering a Queen. NOPE. The mattress is not the standard Queen size (60" x 80"). It is closer to 58" x 76". Don't order this mattress! We are returning it.

Review 2:
C'mon Costco! Fix the product description! Someone else noted in a review that the KING mattress that arrived was 76 in x 72 in and I thought, Oh, they ordered a queen by mistake. I ordered my king size mattress, which is 80 x 72 in by most normal standards, and guess what, it's 76 x 72, NOT 80 x 72. Even the packing slip had listed 80 x 72, the actual product dimension is 76 x 72. Not even going to try it since it wont fit the bed frame!

Review 3
It is not king size. There is a huge gap between the mattress and the headboard, things are falling down from that gap. The other edges are also short, exposing the bed slats.

Costco forwarded the issue to Sealy and Sealy did not stand behind it's product. Sealy acted as amateur company accusing their 3rd party manufacturer.

Bottom line i am not happy with the mattress and i can not handle the return since it won't fit into my car. I am still expecting Costco to solve the issue. Sending a real king size mattress and arranging a pick up the defect one.

What's the point of a hybrid mattress? Part of the benefit of memory foam is its longevity - they can last decades. Put springs underneath memory foam and you'll still have to toss it after 7-10.

Have this and love it. It's firm, but very comfortable.

I think you answered your own question.

why sell someone something that lasts forever when you can have them rebuy it over and over

Exactly. We've had our tempur-pedic for almost 15 years and it seems like it's brand new, no noticeable difference from when it was new.

The idea is you clean the car seat. How do you get 15 years of body sweat and skin from a 15 year old mattress?

I only drive a BMW with BMW seats and only sleep on a SleepNumber Ultra Platinum. So yeah I probably sit better and sleep better...
