What is it with these things adding a bajillion allen wrenches to up the tool count from 25 to 200? This particular set has 40 (forty!) of them! 20% of the tool count. Then 50 screw driving bits!

You mean Harbor Freight and their multiple lines of tools. I have yet to break a HF impact socket.
Second this. I would pay a little upcharge rather than rounding off my bolt or my socket broken when I need them.

I will never buy anything from this brand again. Bought a set of Evolve hex sockets several years ago. Used them maybe once and the entire set rusted over. They were stored in the same garage / tool chest and all my other tools look perfect.

just an FYI but the Evolv tools don't have the same lifetime warranty you actually need the receipt for an exchange. You're better off going with harbor freight over the Evolv line

If you wait for deals, you'll find them. Lowes glitches are posted all the time. Picked up the Kobalt 227 mechanic set for $80, with no filler Allen wrenches.
$80 isn't $58.

It's in the same price bracket. Allen wrenches are filler. Bite me 💅

I hate the handle on these tools. If they get fouled with grease or oil, it's hard to wipe off due to the rubbery texture. Just get a pure metal one.

Made in china if that matters
It doesn't matter. I broke as many USA sockets and tools. It could be made in Liberia and I could care less. What matters is craftsman's quality and how good they wanna be. Evolv is their lower line by the way.

What do you guys expect from this line of tools? They didn't even spell the name right. Chinese factory manager: "Oh crap! Sears wanted us to make a low quality line names Evolve. But we forgot to add the 'e'. Oh well, it's a cheap ass tool line anyway. Who's up for some dumplings for lunch " 🤣🤣🤣

How do you know if I'm a guy? Maybe I used to be a guy. Maybe I am a guy who used to be a girl. Maybe I'm gender neutral. 😂🤣😂🤣

I bought this exact set from a kmart sale like 4 years ago. The rachets and sockets are pretty good, but the little screwdriver bits, the pliers and the crescent all rusted over the span of 2 years. They werent even exposed to moisture just in my shed in the box..

How are people finding these "deals". I haven't seen a KMart ad in a dozen years.
This is a paid advertisement not to be confused with a bargain.
