Not sure if it's a permanent price cut to compete with Xbox Game Pass but for now it's this price from the previous $99.99/yr ... Now Sony just needs to have the $1/month sales like Microsoft has their $1 sales lol

US: $9.99 – monthly / $24.99 – quarterly / $59.99 – yearly (from $19.99/ $44.99/ $99.99)

Starting today, we're adding more blockbuster content that includes some of the most highly played and critically acclaimed PS4 games ever. Check out the first wave of new content below, which is available for three months.

God of War
Grand Theft Auto V**
inFAMOUS Second Son
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
These games will be available from October 1, 2019 until January 2, 2020. Each month, the service will add a new selection of marquee games that will be available for a limited period. The marquee content is on top of the existing offering of popular evergreen titles that are added to PS Now on a regular basis.

Announcing that current subscribers' monthly charges will reflect the new price sounds like this is a permanent price cut.

Yes, it's permanent. They are putting the price in line with competitors.

I will only get this if they allow us to download all games and not a few limited select games. I had this for a year and my internet is shitty so it was an unpleasant experience for me with the game latency.

edit; I'm just stating the facts that as long as you have a decent Internet connection go for it. and yeah you can't download PS3 games only some that has been remastered to PS4.

A good day for psnow. Amazon has $60 psnow per year. It's the right price. Combined with cheap ps+ deals you can basically play a lot of games for $8.25ish a month.

Dumb question, but I'm an old fart and still have a PS3 that I barely use. Can I get this for the PS3? Nevermind... I just looked and it is only for PS4...

Most PC games don't make you pay extra to play online or with friends.

While I love competition....Xbox's promo, if done correctly, was much more beneficial to the buyer. This? Right now, it's not AS appealing, but if you do the math it's a great price point for a collection of games you'd probably rent for that 5-7 day period of time "back in the day"

(Yes, I know some video stores still exist)
