That happens to nearly all faucets, esp if you have hard water. Just wipe your faucets with a soft cloth regularly and after each cleaning.

I installed one of these in a bathroom a year ago, and I'm not super happy with it. The water output was incredibly low, so I opened the end (the bottom has a small plate that can be removed) and took off the small plastic water restrictor. It water flow was much better, but the water pattern was off and splashed a bit upon hitting the sink.

As far as cleaning, I have no issues with water spots, and the look is clean. In another bathroom I redid, I used a Pfister sink fixture and it's proved to be much nicer and I like the push down drain included with that one. This Moen has the typical old school janky pull up handle on the backside of the fixture.

From personal experience... These end up with water spots all over the top flat surfaces. I don't recommend.

Everyone hates on chrome these days. Definitely nice if you don't want to replace all other fixtures. Unfortunately, most sinks have 3 holes for a faucet. With a plate, this might look funny.

Anyone know how the water flow is on this? I got the waterfall faucet for my kids room and it's very low flow, makes it difficult to wash hands, thinking about replacing with this.

This only looks great on a one hole installation. The plate really ruins it otherwise.

Which pfister is it? I bought 3 Venturi single faucets and one is perfect. Another, you pull the handle up and the water splashes everywhere. Another, the water flow is extremely low.

In one bathroom I put in a Pfister Brea: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Pfist.../206409667
In another we have is also a Pfister, though I can't find it on Home Depot. It's a spread 2 handle type, and we've found it annoying to not have one handle, so I'll have to change that one out eventually. The flow is perfect on both. For the Venturi with the low water flow, I would try removing the water restrictor. On the Moen here, we just have to lift the handle partially for it to work. Annoying as heck, but better than super low water flow in my opinion.

I bought one of those motion-activated gooseneck faucets at Costco a couple years ago and although it uses batteries I love not having to mechanically move the handle unless I want a different temperature water. This type of faucet is awesome when you are changing baby diapers and touch the mess and have it on your hands. All future faucets in my house will be touch-free like this.
