This is only for folks with Bank of America credit cards, that use Bank of America deals and have been targeted with this deal. They normally give you 5 to 10% off at places but they have a bonus that doubles that on 10/12.

Any questions on what Bank of America deals are I put that in the deal URL.

It was with Staples and it was 10% but I miss read. I thought it was until 10/12 but it is only on 10/12. A bit stupid. They make you read a lot of the fine print in the deals for max total, can it be online or not, things not covered. Example, gift cards count buying from Staples but they do not count when buying from CVS.

I'm wondering if this will be before bonuses or not. I get 2.625% cashback with Premium Rewards and Preferred Rewards bonus. So will I get 5.25% or just double on the pre-bonus amount? Has anyone done this promo before?

Pretty decent if you have a large retail purchase upcoming that isn't already covered. You can get GCs too.

So the Staples offer doubles to 20% today. Any idea if it's still capped at a maximum of $6 cashback or if that gets doubled as well? I'm guessing it doesn't.

This is just for deals not cash back on a credit card. You have to log on and click on each deal you want.

Well, let's hope I get $12 back on the $60 gift card I'm about to buy.

The dollar limit caps really limit the value of today's promo. PetSmart and Petco are at 10% x 2, but with $6-7 caps, you'd hit 20% fast and reduce that CB percentage for every additional dollar you spend. I was planning to grab some dog food, thinking I could double dip on this double CB deal and a first time auto ship promo, but I'm not sure it's worth their higher prices now. I'm not counting on the limits being doubled unless BofA specifically states so.

Anyone know if AT&T counts as retail or not? It would be pretty slick to be able to double the spend 2 x $15, get $35 CB deal, but I figure that's probably too much to ask for.

I wouldn't be too bummed about the Petsmart and Petco offers. It's pretty easy to snag gift cards for both of them at around 20% off and then you don't have to worry about a cap. Unfortunately, prices are so inflated at both stores that, even with those gift cards, it's still hard to find a decent deal. I've had a heavily discounted Petco gift card sitting around for months because sales at Chewy and Amazon are always substantially better.

You could of course also just redeem the BoA offers on Petco and Petsmart gift cards and then use those cards on another day.
