Isn't this a nice deal? Am I missing something?

I was looking to buy the Aspire 5 Slim with Ryzen 3, which seems to be pretty popular on Amazon. I was then going to upgrade the RAM to 8 GB and SSD to 512.. that would've cost a $100..
This one seems better, cause I get an i7 instead of Ryzen 3.. along the RAM and SSD I desire.

Most of the Acer Aspire series uses more or less same quality IPS Panel. It is around 280 to 300 nits brightness, 60% sRGB and 40% Adobe RGB.

My Acer Swift 3 (same general price range) has an IPS panel, it's mediocre by IPS standards but still FAR superior to any TN display. You can't expect very bright, color-accurate displays in the <$700 price range.

Seems like max RAM for this model is 20GB, 4GB soldered to board. Pretty good price for the unit, but for a series like this I'm holding till Black Friday time period for sales.

Does this or any cheaper i7 laptop charge via USB-C? Just want something that can charge from a power block.

How is the build quality of aspire series compares to say HP's envy? Or dell inspiron?

Dell Inspiron does not have a constant Build quality, it ranges from Insiprin 3000, 5000 and 7000 series. This is more or less equivalent to Dell Inspiron 5000 and HP Pavilion series.

Does anybody know if I can charge this through USB-C? I'm trying to get a docking station where I only plug in the USB-C for all of my peripherals to include charging the laptop
