The way it works is that you'll always be purchasing the highest quality that iTunes has available at the time you purchase it. If it says 4K on the individual movie listings (not the bundle page), you'll get 4K. You can't choose to buy a lower quality option if the page says 4K (though it will play in HD or SD quality on screens that can't produce 4K, like an iPhone or 1080p TV).

It's not like VUDU, where when you're purchasing something for the first time, you have to manually select which quality/format you want to buy (SD, HDX or UHD). With iTunes, if the movie is available in 4K, you're buying it in 4K; whether it's part of a bundle or not Smilie

Evil Dead is Movies Anywhere compliant, but ED2 is not, and I'm guessing this bundle doesn't transfer via MA?

Technically correct, but the distinction needs to be made that the while the 2013 remake is MA compatible, the original one from the 80s is not.

On the bundle page showing both movies, click on each individual title to be taken to it's own page. There you'll see that each movie is listed as 4K. For some reason, iTunes still hasn't properly updated many of their bundle pages to indicate 4K even when all movies in the bundle are in that format.

Yes, noticed that as well. Would love to see feedback from someone who actually bought the bundle confirming that you get the 4K version.

If you'd still like the confirmation, I can now officially confirm this for you.

Damn it. No MA, no dice. Guess I'll hold out till on sale on vudu or amazon (don't have plans for Apple TV anytime soon, unless someone knows of a way to access your iTunes library on a Samsung TV?)
