We're a little larger and the seat that lifts has bowed some and fallen into the lip it's supposed to sit on and is a pain now. If your looking to support 250lbs for one or (375lbs for 2 people) or more ours didn't hold up well after only 2 years. The color is holding up just fine though.

I have this bench as well. It has more appeal if you purchase a cushion for the top. Not too hard to build but be careful not to fully align and screw in the bottom so that it doesn't let critters and moisture in. I store all my grilling tools in there with plenty of room to spare. The plastic grain effect is a nice touch. Hers a link to the cushion I bought that fits well: Pillow Perfect Outdoor Topanga Stripe Lagoon Bench Cushion https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HVEN...LDbJ26Q4JD

Anyone have any opinions on this? I thought about picking it up for my front porch area and was curious if it actually lasts in weather? (Midwest covered porch)

I had this bench for a few years. I thought it was awesome. I do cover it in the winter to preserve it and it's holding up. The kids loved hanging out on it and it was durable in my opinion. I believe I paid $100 for it at Walmart on clearance when I bought it. $90 is a good deal if you need a deck box for some cushions or a smaller storage for outdoor toys.

I have this on my covered patio in Texas. Doesn't get much direct sunlight but is still intact after more than 6 years. Not very nice to sit on but ok in a pinch and I'd say worth this price for the storage alone.

Would this last if left out on a deck, not covered porch, year round? Is the base/floor plastic or heavy duty cardboard?

Also a bunch of "used - like new" with 20% off bringing the total to $65.

I have this on my dock currently and it's a solid bench to sit on and store stuff. All year it hasn't faded at all. The seat back is rigid, with metal bars you mount inside the plastic when assembling. The seat is comfortable for what it is - and everything inside stays dry. The feet come off and you can screw them into your deck if you want to keep it from moving around.

The bottom is a rigid cardboard like plastic. It may bow with heavy stuff in it but overall is solid. It should hold up well - it's MUCH more stable than my other cheaper keter boxes.

Can't speak to this model as it has a "back & arms" but I just got the 90g Keter Novel deck box
from HD [homedepot.com] for $64* and it's well made & easy to assemble.
(*price adjusted by CSR as HD screwed up shipping).

So @ $87 for the 'Bench' seems to be a good deal if you're OK with the 70g capacity.

Well it WAS there but looks like they sold the ones that were 20% off - 17 "used" left now, vs 19 when i ordered.

I have both and the bench is a little higher quality. The plastic is of similar overall quality but the metal supports make the bench a lot more rigid.

Got same or similar from Sam's last year. Use it on the front porch with no issues. Put a small sign up asking delivery services to leave packages inside the bench and most do. Works great to help prevent porch pirates (and protect packages from the weather).

i have the non-bench version of this and it's pure junk
corrugated plastic bottom has no center support and will collapse with just a little weight

if you insist on buying this, you need to reinforce the bottom in multiple places, and say a prayer the rest of it holds up
