was looking for some corn-free premix for my knocky blower and came across this. way cheaper per oz than anything else I've seen that comes pre-mixed. this is close to the price of pumping ethanol-free gas ($11/ga in my area according to pure-gas) and adding oil to 5 gallons.

ymmv, but shipping was over $150 for some reasons so I had it shipped to the store down the street for no cost.

Scam. How many quart bottles of quality 2 cycle oil and gallons of gas can you buy for 60 bucks? Hell, throw in a Jerry can, too.

It's called running the carb dry. Ta da! No more issues.

I can get ethanol free gas at a bunch of local stations much cheaper than $11/gallon. It's barely more expensive than the other hi-octane gas in the area. This stuff is great, but it's hard to justify the price for more than just convenience.

man, I wish that would solve my mower issues. I did that plus everything short of letting the damn thing sleep in my bed at night.

If it's a shitty carb, then put some heavy oil mix through it, then shut it off and dump the bowl. Make sure throttle is completely closed.

Mine sat from Sept to May and fired up instantly. I just use a valve to run it dry. Older carbs will of course be more problematic, especially if extra chinesium.

Ethanol in gas for brass parts. In normal ~10% concentration it's not a huge deal but it will corrode brass jets, heaven forbid you have a brass float or needle valve. Rubber seals tend to be bothered by it also.

That said I have had no problems with ethanol in gas with a quality oil mix. Forgot to empty my snowblower tank and run it dry. Started up first pull the next season.

what state is this if you don't mind me asking? I'm in CT and there aren't many places that sell ethanol-free gas let alone for just over corn-fuel prices.

Look at puregas.org might not be 100% right but if you search non ethanol gas it will come up. Usually boat places/ marenas will have some. I usually buy 5 gallons in the spring for weed eater and chain saw then 5 gallons in the fall for snowblower.

looks like 28 stations on puregas.org in CT

Someone take away your MAN card if you have to buy a pre-mix and can't mix your own fuel. For pete's sake what's happened to men these days.
