Wait a min, you don't even like AMD CPU's? They're clearly the (currently) better choice vs Intel in that dept. I'm sensing an AMD hater...

Fwiw, now owning a 5700 I dont agree with the reviews describing noise. Coming from a 295x2 which was quite loud, I was worried about it from reviews, but Ive barely heard the fan since owning this. There were other reviews saying something similar so wth why not. Compared to that card this thing is silent. Been extremely happy with the purchase.

FP. Good deal on 5700, not sure if it comes with newly announced bundle.

Actually kinda tempting to go to a 5700xt at this price and sell my current old 1080. 🤔

*edit* maybe not... I've always stayed away from blower cards, but the reviews. Yikes.

I decided to make the jump from a RTX 1060 to the RX 5700 XT and have ZERO regrets. This card is an absolute beast in gaming and productivity. To top it off I have 3 monitors running from it without any issues. (2 x 27" monitors and 1 x 34"). Two of which are freesync
.

Yeah, those reviews are BRUTAL

Do you just go and ignore every review that's negative? He's also comparing a 1060 to a 5700xt. Of course he's going to have a glowing review.

Considering your issue is the heat/noise and he says nothing about that...

Overall the card has a 3.5 and 15 5 star reviews, but also 8 one star reviews.

Overall I get your point, it could be very noisy. It may not, but I might not chance it.

The 5700 might be better, What amazes me is Vega 64 performance for $290.

FYI. 5700 & 5700 XT doesn't come with the new AMD game bundle. New bundle is supposed to offer Borderlands 3 or Ghost Recon.

This doesn't have very good reviews considering this is coming from BestBuy. Reviews on BestBuy for tech products tend to be more positive than on sites like NewEgg (and Amazon). It's worth checking out reviews from different sites - retail site reviews can be useful but also check out "real" reviews if possible (with the caveat that they can be paid reviews, as could those on various retail sites). Or you can risk it. Maybe the reviews are needlessly negative.

One problem is it only has a 1 year warranty. If you buy, use a card that doubles the warranty if possible. From what I can tell, most other manufacturers have at least a 2 year warranty (e.g., MSI is 3).

Great price if you're okay with a blower. There's very little performance difference with the partner cards. Mostly just noise and cooling. Maybe if you're doing water cooling it won't bother you.

That promo just started yesterday from what I can gather, so either BB hasn't updated their website yet, or they're not an eligible vendor. AMD (officially) only lists Amazon and Micro Center as vendors.

Edit: Newegg has the games offer as well as some other vendors, the AMD website list is woefully incomplete.
