Not true bro. If they were struggling they wouldn't be pricing out certain sets at 200 plus dollars

Its LEGO that's why. It's just like folks who think anything Disney is a good deal.

Meh $5 for a base plate. I think these should be included in sets anyways.

I 3d-printed probably 30 of these things for my Lego Christmas display to keep things in place. I didn't care as much about them being Lego branded as they were between the layer of snow cotton and the figures Stick Out Tongue. I think these should be included in more sets as well, though I appreciate when they include them in deals (like the sand plates that came with the Anniversary sets last year).

That all said, I'll probably pick up a few more green and blue for a rainy day. Amazon reviews note that the green colored baseplate is lighter than the typical darker lego green you'd expect, if anyone cares.

LEGO could go bankrupt. What a vicious enterprise. This company still thinks kids love LEGO. They don't know kids don't play LEGO anymore.

Well it's a buck cheaper than what it has been for the last several months.

Yes this is normal price. But some idiots think this is sale price.

I lead a mentoring program for elementary and middle schoolers and you are highly mistaken. They are also one of our top items that goes on Christmas wish lists.

That being said, I don't know why this is front page. The highest I've paid for these are about $6.99 based off my Amazon order history. So not a huge deal.
