I got an alert this morning for Triple Force Friday about Amazon's Treasure Truck selling a limited first edition release of hasbro 6" action figures. There are 8 total in the set.

If you don't know about Treasure Truck, they are in select cities and offer limited, or cheap deals for there subscribers.

It only seems to be live on the East coast at this point, but other cities should go live at 10am local time depending on what time zone you are in (at least to my knowledge, that seems to be the start time for everything).

I wouldn't wait for the alert though, as quantities are almost always super limited. Just check amazon.com/treasuretruck right at 10am in your time zone.

Treasure Truck is available in the following cities:

Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Indianapolis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Nashville, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Tampa, and Washington DC,

YMMV so happy hunting!

Barely got in here in ATL. Already sold out. Wow! I went to two stores this morning and only snagged a couple first editions. Excited to have the full collection!

I know there's a limit of 1 per person, but does anyone know how Amazon's Treasure Truck stock operates? After I picked up my order, all other locations say sold out. Just curious if I got the last one or if it always says sold out once you get your order due to the 1-order limit.

Thanks

Sold out because everybody claimed it quickly. What's the hype with these? I ignored it when I saw the message but seems like people swooped these up quickly. Normally around my area, Amazon Truck Deals don't sell out.

I don't doubt that they could be sold out in my city after mine, but prior to my pickup the truck still had more stops planned during the day according to the app. Do they only sell a set amount per city regardless of stop (and cancel stops as necessary) OR do they have a set amount of allowed orders per each stop?

As for demand, Star Wars fans have certainly created a market for collectibles. I imagine Amazon's app stating, "Treasure Truck is the only place in the galaxy you can get all 8 of these brand-new figures as a set in white packaging" and "This set comes in the First Edition white packaging, which is available in limited quantities and has never been offered before by Hasbro" helped drive quick sales.

I believe Treasure Truck has a set number of items in their inventory for the entire day. People can buy and choose whatever stop is most convenient for them that day.

For instance, say there are 20 items sold, There could be 1 at the last stop, 10 at the first stop, and 9 inbetween.

These sold out here in Seattle within 4 minutes. Fastest I've ever seen a Treasure Truck sell out. Maybe they had a super small amount available.

So Hasbro got tired of all the recent figures not selling so they decided to go the "first edition" route and just make the box a different color, nothing else different, and suddenly sell out again? Who is worse here, hasbro or the fans?

And it looks like rey and cal kestis have some new little droids with them? BB-8 replacements? Droids are always marketable.

i am guessing each stop have a specific allocation. like one location could be sold out but others still have stock.
