I love reading these tv threads. There are 100 problems with each and every tv deal posted.

If you're concerned about best in-class reliability and cutting edge tech, then price isn't your main concern. Take a trip to the Sony Store or grab a top of the line LG OLED from Best Buy.

If you're looking for the best value, or just want a nice looking tv without spending $2,500 or more then this one should do just fine.

As for the rest of us, for the love of Sweet Baby Jesus, just answer the question, is it a good deal or not?

Are these in the same brand new condition, with just the box being dented/scuffed as is the case with the other "scuffed boxes" posts?

Just a scuffed box! I can deal with that. Long as the TV isn't damaged and most of the time they arent, I would take a chance. Then you always have the manufacturing warranty too since the item is still brand new.as long as you can show a receipt or proof of purchase, Samsung will honor the deal. Maybe just don't say that the box was damaged when you got it. Lol

$811 (65") and $1229 (75") on Amazon, I believe.

(sorry, that's for refurbished/renewed).

They were counting on that. They use the word "renewed" to be sneaky.
