This kit is available on Oct. 10 (but can order now) by 3rd party seller, Franko Lighting. I bought these last time they hit front page at $22, and they are great, and work well with SmartThings/Alexa.

Additionally, the A19 and BR30 bulbs are on sale by the same seller, at $13 and $18, respectively.

These are the BEST bargain for color zigbee lights. Works with smartthings and hubitat and has a 2 year warranty. Or you can waste 40 bucks on a single hue bulb,

Found this link also, which looks like it includes the hub?

Neat, but based on much user feedback, the osram hub is very problematic.I've never used one myself but I've seen the slew of complaints, both on the SmartThings and hubitat forums

I have several of these (BR30) and haven't had a problem with any of them. Saying that, Sylvania stands behind them and will ship you a new one if you have any problems. no questions asked. Just email them.

What hub do you guys recommend for these? Do the recessed trim work outside if it's covered from moisture?

I used SmartThings to set them up, but primarily the Alexa app to control them. One of the customer reviews on Amazon shows them under the eves of his house. They look pretty sharp. I would think if they are protected from moisture, they would be ok. I used this housing from Home Depot, which is rated for insulation contact and air tight. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Halo-...202507555?

I should probably bite the bullet and get smart things... Historically have only used Phillips hue but seems more and more often I need this

Ruh roh. Seller doesn't have 1000 reviews. Prepare for the mods to ban this. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

What is annoying about these is when you turn them on the flash through colors.
