Purchased 2 of these at Christmas for the family years ago. Fun for about 15 minutes. Track is a hair & dust magnet, the cars have to recharge every 10-15 minutes, and the cars are constantly losing control and leaving the track. The whole game becomes to try not to step on anything or anyone while getting your car back on the track.

Really wanted to like these as I paid $115 x 2, but it was played with 30 min exactly 2 times. All ages from 5-65 and it didn't have any staying power for anyone. The software "upgrade" system for the cars made an uneven playing field and offered no real engagement for repeat play. Pulled out to test a couple years later and all the cars only hold a charge for 30 seconds.

Probably the most expensive and fastest toy to become trash I may have ever purchased.

Was recently this price on Amazon as well.

FYI, the company has gone out of business, but this product should not require anything from them.

Doesn't it require an app to do anything to the cars? What if the app gets pulled, or needs a developer to update the app?

Yes! Especially if they have experience playing games on a tablet/phone already.

Looks pretty awesome. A lot different than the racing track with the metal strips from when I was once young laugh out loud

One on the comments in this video says that they can stop the software anytime and it will be worthless

The community on reddit and other places have plenty of places to download the APK. They even recommend the older version of the app.

This is the first time I've heard of Traxxas, so I looked it up. I want that.

Yes also if you have android you can get something like lucky patcher and make a backup of the app. If you already have the app installed it'll still work even if it gets pulled

Picked up one for my son a couple years ago. He only played with it a couple times. It sucks, wish I would have just bought a normal slot car set.
