Its a $40 projector, after coupon (if you have it). That's an order of magnitude less than even the most budget level "regular projector" ($400), and 2 orders smaller than a good mid/high end projector ($4000). Let's be reasonable, for 40-50 bucks, this is for a little kid who wants a "movie night" in a tent in his bedroom. You can barely get a 32" tv for $100 normally, so let's temper our expectations on a $40 projector.

Yep, there's a $20 off coupon plus the coupon from OP. Came out to $39 shipped for me. This will replace a TV I sold that didn't get much use. Gonna get some blackout curtains and have a nice "theater" room for the kids.

I just want a decent enough projector that can display Halloween scenes from those DVDs they sell. Anyone with experience using this projector think this will accomplish that? Thank you.

Awesome, got it for $40. I've been wanting to get one of those cheap chinese projectors but this will probably be better.

Yeah, does anyone know if 480p will be a good experience? How big can the screen be projected? I know nothing about this stuff

I thought the same. I mean 480 is pretty bad. I usually won't go less than 720 for something like this. Good price though.

I'll occasionally download 480p videos due to laziness/availability, not the end of the world, and for cartoons/animated movies for the kids it's fine.
