the bad reviews are for the "Pivot" brush. if you filter the reviews for just the "grout" the reviews are pretty good.

Great price but these reviews soured me:

Brush will not stay locked in position while in use.

I bought this thinking that the two-in-one design would be convenient, but I've found it to be useless. As far as I can tell, there's no way to lock the brush in the orientation you want, so each time I scrub, the brush twists itself into the other configuration. This makes actually using the brush impossible unless you hold it down below the pivot, which is ridiculous. Someone please tell me I'm missing something, but if not, I would not waste my money on this.

I have a handheld steamer. I didn't know you could or should use steamers for grout. Please share your experience.

So long as your grout is sealed and was properly done and you're not flooding it you're ok. If you're not sure about that then you'll discolor or bleach the grout

I used a steamer on my floor grout in the kitchen. It worked really well. Baking soda and vinegar if you want to go chemical-less. Otherwise, you can Google it for what chemicals others use. I learned that trick by googling it. You can pretty much find anything these days online.
