Hey all, this went down at Micro Center again. Just saw it this morning and picked one up. Unfortunately, this is B&M only, in-store pickup.

You also can choose 1 of 2 games:
- Borderlands 3
- The Outer Worlds

and get 3 months of Xbox Game Pass for PC

Went in for this CPU, walked out with a 3900x and a TomahawkMB. I blame you OP.

3600 is definitely better for gaming, not by a ton, but a decent boost over 2700x. At $160 though, I would still get a 2700x, that value cant be beaten, especially considering it comes with Prism cooler which is worldly better than the Stealth that comes with the 3600 (it seriously sucks).

Any solid B450 motherboard would be great for a 2700x. Should get $30 off too if you get that with the 2700x at Microcenter which makes it a super slick deal together. Lot of people like the MSI B450 Tomahawk. It's hard to find a BAD B450 really, Gigabyte Aorus Elite is around the Tomahawk pricepoint too.

Sometimes you can find wicked slick deals on open box complete mobos at Microcenter, but with $30 off new, you might as well just get something new with the 2700x.

Just built this for you using all microcenter parts:
CPU - 2700x ($160)
Mobo - MSI Tomahawk B450 ($85, $115-$30 discount)
RAM - GSKILL ripjaws DDR4-3200 8gbx2 - 16 GB ($74)
SSD - Inland professional 512GB nvme ($50)
PSU - Powerspec 550watt bronze ($45)
Case - NZXT H510 ($72)

Total - $471, you just need to add a super cheap video card, where you can find something cheap would complete that for you. Could also add a hard drive or larger SSD if you need more storage.

OP any chance this hits $99 for Black Friday?
Not 100% sure. I just got back into AMDs (been many years), so don't really know rock bottom clearance prices.

Definitely take advantage of the $30 off combo for even sweeter deal. I don't game, but I got this board.
ASRock Fatal1ty B450 GAMING-ITX/AC

Ive been into M-ITXs for past year. They're can be a little limited, but I like the small form.
